Choose the right produce box for you!
All produce boxes come in three sizes (sm, med, lg) and run for 20-22 weeks from mid June - October.
Subscribe for the summer and save 10% or try our one month trial!
How it Works
01.
Choose your subscription from above and checkout.
Produce and egg subscriptions will start mid-June (tentatively June 14th), but you will need to pre-order to hold your spot for the summer! When you pre-order, you will be asked to pre-pay for one week of your subscription. Once the subscription starts in June, you will be billed weekly starting the second week of the program.
If you are doing a one month trial, you will still need to pre-order (pay for one week in advance). Once the program starts, you will be billed weekly for that month.
02.
Receive a confirmation email with additional details.
Once you have pre-ordered your subscription, we will send you an email confirming your order. We will then work with you to coordinate a pick-up or delivery (area dependent) time and date for the summer.
At this time, you are also asked to share any allergies or veggie preferences for your box! We will do our best to accommodate you and your family's needs the best we can.
In early June, we will send an update on when the first produce boxes will be ready! We are aiming for June 14th, but may have produce ready ahead of time. We will most likely be able to provide egg-only subscribers with eggs starting in mid-May!
03.
Pick-up your produce box and / or eggs!
Once you have received an email confirming when your produce box will be ready, come to the farm to pick-up your fresh produce box and/or eggs during the pick-up date and time you preselected. You are always welcome to take a tour of the garden and visit with the chickens too, just let us know when you arrive!
If you live in an area where we offer delivery, we will send you an email the day before to confirm the drop-off window.
Enjoy your fresh and delicious produce and eggs!
04.
Return your produce crate and egg cartons.
In an effort to reduce waste, we will be using reusable crates and totes for weekly produce boxes. As such, we kindly ask that you return or leave out (for delivery) your previous week's crate or tote so we can re-use it for the coming week. Each subscriber has two dedicated totes in their rotation, so we really appreciate your assistance in returning these each week!
If you are also receiving or buying eggs, we ask that you return these cartons too, so that we can continue to use them!
05.
Enjoy and share feedback!
We hope that you will enjoy the experience of eating fresh seasonal produce as much as we do!!
Our aim is to surprise you with some less common varieties, and delight you with lots of summer staples! But everyone's tastes and cooking styles are a little bit different, and we would love to hear what you are enjoying a lot and maybe a little less...
So please don't be shy! We welcome you to share feedback with us at any time. Whether it's something new you tried and loved or didn't love so much, if we are providing too much or too little for your family size; or any other constructive feedback you may have in order to help us improve. We truly appreciate and value your thoughts and feedback!
FAQ
Can I customize my produce box?
While we don't offer 100% customizable produce boxes, we are certainly happy to accomodate you if you dont like something specific or have any allergies! Just send us an email after signing up and we will work with you to ensure you are happy with your weekly box!
What if I will be away for a week?
It's summer and we know people will be taking holidays, so if you will be away for a week or more during the summer you have a few options: 1. Donate your box to a local food bank (we can drop it off on your behalf) 2. Give your box to a friend or neighbour (just let us know who will be picking it up ahead of time) 3. Farm credit toward eggs, flowers or other produce whenever you would like to claim it between June and end of October.
What's your cancellation policy?
Our customers mean everything to us! We ask that if you are not satisfied with your produce box or eggs for any reason, to please get in touch with us right away so we can do our best to remedy the issue. However, if you are not satisfied with your produce box or eggs for more than two consecutive weeks, we will issue a refund for the remaining weeks on the subscription.
What if I don't like what's in my box?
We do our best to grow new, interesting items as well as several delicious cooking staples, but we know that its hard to love ALL veggies equally. So, if you do not like three or more items in your box, please send us an email or call us right away and we will see what we have available that we can swap out that is more to your liking! If you really are not enjoying the produce boxes for more than two consecutive weeks, we will provide a full refund for the remaning weeks left on your subscription! With that said, we encourage everyone to try new things with these ingredients, step outside their comfort zone a bit and realize that its okay to try new things and not like them... but we really hope you love them! I am always happy to share new recipes and cooking instructions if you are looking for new ideas in the kitchen!
Can I change my pick-up date / time?
Absolutely! Just send us an email at least three days before your scheduled pick-up or delivery date / time and we will work with you to find a more suitable date/time!
Do you grow / make everything on your farm?
We sure do! All produce and eggs are grown and raised here on our farm. We will also be making all the bread, treats, jams and preserves added to our premium boxes (Veg, Eggs & More on the produce box page). The only exception to this would be if I have a crop fail and need to supplement with veggies from another local organic farm. I may also choose to include other local artisenal products in the premium boxes on some weeks. Any items not grown or raised on the farm will be sourced from other local farms and will be labelled as such in your box!
